The sports centre is one of the largest and most modern sports facilities in Southern Brandenburg. Here you can find the best facilities for children and teenagers, youth, top level sports, mass sports and the disabled. The complex consists of an athletics stadium, a bicycle stadium, a gymnastic hall, a boxing hall as well as fitness and relaxation rooms, a sauna and so on.
The athletics stadium is able to hold international competitions. Many international sports events have been organised here. In 1990, the German Meeting started as an international athletics top competition.
The athletics hall (running hall) is available for training and team sports. It is used especially by people for general sports and by disabled.
The bicycle stadium with its covered cycling track is an additional attraction in the sports centre. Well recognised national and international competitions take place on it, for example in 1995 and 1996 the cycling track World Cup.
