The Technology and Industrial Park Cottbus (TIP Cottbus) is the largest contiguous industrial park in Brandenburg. Th e former military airport is located approximately two kilometres from the city centre.

On the property 220 ha of building area are available for development, of which 200 hectares are for industrial use and 20 hectares for commercial purposes. In addition to the free spaces there are some existing structures that may be used immediately (hangars, living quarters, technical buildings, administrative buildings).

Due to the location on the central ring TIP Cottbus is connected to the national and state road network as well as to the national highway A 15. If required a connection to the railway line is possible.

Who can invest?

Companies promoting innovation creating the largest amount of jobs will have highest priority in the settlement. Emphasis will be placed on priority industries already established in the region. These sectors of expertise are a very important part of the private sector promotion policy of the Federal State of Brandenburg. The objective is to create highly-specialised economic regions or clusters by promoting certain sectors strongly. All sectors of expertise have experienced dynamic growth over the past years and demonstrate strong future growth potential.
