Wendish museum/Serbski muzej

In 1994, the Sorbian exhibition was opened again in a completely restored 'Bürgerhaus' with classical style decorative elements, near to the Altmarkt. Numerous exhibits give insights of Slavic history in German territory. The certifications of the Sorbian script and literature are to be seen in the Niederlausitz, alongside liveries and household furniture articles as well as their traditions, including their songs and lyrics.

In 16 exhibition rooms you can see numerous exhibits in the fields of traditional costumes, literature, music, folk arts, fine arts and Wendish customs.
