Galerie auf Zeit

Since September 16, 2005 the "Galerie auf Zeit" opened in Sachsendorf. In a former shop in the Gelsenkirchener Allee the gallery offers to sculptors, painters, photographer and film producers from Cottbus and the region the possibility of issuing their works.

The first exhibition showed assemblages, wood and steel sculptures of the Vetschau artist Willi Selmer. In November the works from the Sommercamp 2005 will be seen which were done by humans with a handicap.

The gallery is organised by the donation SPI and is financially promoted by the Gebäudewirtschaft Cottbus and by the federation-land-programme "the social city". The patronage for the Galerie auf Zeit took over Ms Dr Martina Münch (MdL).
