Claustral Church
The Klosterkirche, also called the "Wendische Kirche" (Wendish church), demonstrates the influence of the Franziscan monks in the town of Cottbus. The church is the oldest one in Cottbus and was built between the 14th and 16th century. The monastery church is an important reminder in Cottbus' history: The city founder's gravestone with the symbol of a crab remains the emblem of Cottbus.
