The small theatre was founded as a private theatre in 1989 and became an important centre of Cottbus' art scene. It offers plays, cabarets, boulevards, children's theatre and unorthodox performances.

The theatre group offers refreshing and thrilling entertainment.

Also contemporary, exciting plays have been scheduled.

The theatre's performances had become extremely popular. They took place in the inner court of the Wendish museum in the Mühlenstraße and have developed into a real tradition.
