Neue Bühne 8 - Cottbus Student Theatre

After lots of passionate work involving great attention to detail and seemingly endless rehearsals, students from both of Cottbus' universities are proud to produce new performances.

In their first times, bühne 8 was considered as a students theatre staging plays by Christian Martin, Anton Tschechow, Woody Allen, Alexander Scholz, Georg Büchner and Sybille Berg.

The bühne 8 gallery has developed from a casual Benjamin Block exhibition in 1998.

Since that time, bühne 8 is not only a place for theatre and cabaret performances but for arts, literature and music, too.
